Rock Band Camp
The rock band camp is geared towards those students who have become competent on their instruments and are ready to form a band, but lack the experience necessary to integrate with other young musicians. We will provide all the equipment, including drums and a sound system. Enrollment is limited to drums, bass guitar, guitars, keyboards, and vocals.

The Rock Band Camp is also offered as a regular class throughout the school year.

GIRLZ Rock Band Camp
The rock band camp is geared towards girls who have become competent on their instruments and are ready to form a band, but lack the experience necessary to integrate with other young musicians. We will provide all the equipment, including drums and a sound system.

The GIRLZ Rock Band Camp is taught by the talented Sarah Good. Sarah's experience as a recording artist and touring musician make her a great choice to run this camp!

Musical Theatre
The Musical Theatre camp is for kids and teens who like to act, sing or dance - or all of the above! Even fellas who may be too cool to dance will feel at home here.

Participants will be given the opportunity to learn improvisation, create their own scripts and develop their own characters. The camp also focuses on stage management and production.

Junior Music Jam
The Junior Music Jam camp is for kids aged 4 to 9. With the emphasis being more on having fun than producing musical prodigies, kids will learn the basics of guitar, ukulele, drums, percussion, keyboards and singing.

A great time is guaranteed for all!

Avalon Idol
This is a camp for students who love to sing! Participants will be given the opportunity to develop their vocal skills while perfecting the art of performing. It will be done in the spirit of a singing competition (like the TV show), with a performance and a winner selected at the end of the week.

All ages are welcome.

Guitar Building Workshop
A few years ago, we started the first Build-Your-Own Electric Guitar Workshops. Our succes can be guaged by the students' photos below (click on a photo to view full-size).

(Scroll down below the photos to continue reading the text)

Although the body and neck of the guitar are already cut out of wood (so no power tools are involved), students will learn to paint, finish, and wire up (no electrical soldering will be required) and assemble the guitar. In some cases, we will re-model the shape of the head-stock (or the guitar!) so each instrument is unique (the teacher alone will cut the wood to the student's design). Each guitar will be named, and a custom logo will be created.

There are five styles of guitars from which to choose. Please note that the prices are IN ADDITION to the standard camp fee. You may contact the Dundas or Brantford locations for more details.

$239 - Fender Stratocaster style
$249 - Fender Telecaster style
$339 - Gibson Les Paul style
$339 - PRS (Paul Reed Smith) style
$249 - Fender Precision style (bass guitar)
$339 - Flying-V style NEW!
$329 - Gibson SG style NEW!
$259 - Fender Jazz style (bass guitar) NEW!

(See below for samples)

NOTES:
- Camp sizes are limited, and are offered on a first-come, first serve basis
- A $150 non-refundable deposit is required).
- All guitars are full size.
- There is no age limit (if a child is perhaps too young, a parent is welcome to attend any part of the camp).
